Closely related to Coelogyne, it can be found in Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra, Java and the Philippines elevations of 2000 - 5500 feet. The inflorescence can carry up to 20  flowers which are a  translucent white with a spot of yellow on the lip and have a pleasing fragrance.
