Encyclia cordigera is native to Central America and has a very dark colored purple lip with chocolate petals and sepals. The flowers are up to 3 inches with a wonderful fragrance doing best with bright light and intermediate temperatures. Epidendrum magnificum is found in cloud forests from Guerrero, Mexico. It is a large reed stem type with a pendant cluster of up to 60, 1 inch rose flowers growing at temps 45F to 85F and bright light, 11800 to 2500 footcandles. Our hybrid resembles cordigera in growth and in its inflorescence. These are blooming size seedlings and are out of pot.
