Epi. Belmont is the hybrid of Epi. floribundum and Enc. tampensis and is often mislabeled in the marketplace as Epi. floribundum. Belmont is strongly fragrant and an easy grower. Epidendrum cristatum is a large, tall growing, reed stem Epi with a pendant inflorescence with many 2 inch fragrant flowers, like ripe peaches. The resulting hybrid has a strong, pleasant fragrance and is a vigorous grower doing best at intermediate temperatures and partial shade. These are blooming size divisions.
