Epidendrum trifidum is found at elevations of 5000 to 7000 feet in Columbia. In spite of the high elevation our trifidums are thriving at intermediate temps, 50F to 90F and 2000 to 3000 foot candles of light. The inflorescence is up to 18 inches long and is multi-branched with many 1/2 inch flowers. It is often cited as a synonym of E cylindrostachys. These are blooming sized divisions.
