Laelia lobata is a medium sized grower from Brazil and found on rocky cliffs facing the ocean near Rio de Janeiro at lower elevations They are easy and robust growers doing best with bright light, 3000 + foot candles, intermediate temperatures and a brief winter rest. The fragrant flowers are up to 5 inches with 2 to 5 per inflorescence and are white. Our plants are a sibling cross from H & R Orchids and are in 2 inch pots, about 1 1/2 years from blooming.
