Restrepia striata is one of the easiest and warm growing of compact Pleurothallids!! They are found from Venezuela south to Peru in the Andes mountains, at 3000 feet to 5000 feet. We grow ours at intermediate temps, from lows of 50 F to 85 F with shady conditions, 800 to 1100 foot candles with good humidity. They do not want to dry out and have no winter rest. The flowers are yellow with red orange stripes, up to 2 1/2 inches. These are blooming sized divisions ready for 4 " pots or cork mounted.
